All CIEP members join at Entry Level. This level is ideal if:
- you’re thinking about becoming a proofreader or copyeditor
- it’s part of what you do, but not the main part
- you haven’t done much paid work yet
- you need time to gather evidence for upgrading to a higher level.
If you’re more experienced than this, you may want to plan your upgrade to one of our higher levels of membership: Intermediate, Professional or Advanced Professional.
