Antonia is an experienced editor, writer and tutor and an Advanced Professional Member of CIEP. With 30 years in book publishing, she provides a range of editorial services for both non-fiction and fiction. In her work for educational publishers, she specialises in Humanities and Creative Arts, Modern Languages, Business, Psychology, Marketing and Law. For trade publishers, she works on a wide range of subjects for commercial non-fiction. She is an industry development editor and copy-editor/proofreader for Cornerstones Literary Consultancy, specialising in children’s fiction, memoir, commercial fiction and narrative non-fiction. She writes for children and her debut middle-grade novel Terra Electrica publishes in 2024 with Neem Tree Press. As well as teaching editorial skills, she offers mentoring and manuscript development services to indie authors, and leads creative writing workshops and guest lectures on editing and writing.

Nazima Pathan

Nazima is a children’s author, as well as being a doctor and researcher, and is based in Cambridge. Her debut novel, Dream Hunters, was published last year by Simon and Schuster and the sequel, The Night Curse, is set for publication in February 2026.

Gale Winskill

Gale is an editor at Winskill Editorial with over 30 years of experience in the UK and abroad, across fiction and non-fiction. She provides the whole range of editing services, as well as book coaching, and has worked with traditionally published and self-published authors, both in-house and, since 2008, as a freelancer. Her writers have won or been shortlisted for various prizes, including the Scottish Children’s Book Awards and the Kelpies Prize. Gale has been involved with the creation and delivery of training courses and workshops for the CIEP and other publishing bodies, and teaches the fiction stream of the HarperCollins Author Academy. She describes her editing approach as that of an uber-critical reader, never losing sight of the fundamental fact that a writer’s objective is to make a connection with their audience and the editor’s role is to enable the author to achieve that by means of constructive advice, collaboration and a good sense of humour. When she’s not reading, Gale can be found playing tennis or gardening according to the principle of benevolent neglect.
