CIEP Conference 2025

Planning for the CIEP's 2025 conference is underway. Editors and proofreaders from across the UK, and globally, come together every year at this annual event to learn, share knowledge, and meet friends and colleagues, both in person and online. 

This year, we’ll be gathering at Kents Hill Park in Milton Keynes from 20 to 22 September to focus on this year’s conference theme: ‘The Value of the Editorial Profession’. 

Editorial standards are more important than ever. The rapid escalation of AI technology is bringing constant challenges, and the unstable economic situation has brought about cost-cutting pressures that impact our work and daily lives.

The 2025 conference agenda will focus on discussions that seek to offer solutions to these challenges, as well as providing practical support and ideas to help editorial professionals demonstrate the value they bring to promoting excellence in English language editing and proofreading.
