Conference Aston is part of the Aston University campus and is situated close to Birmingham city centre. The conference centre offers excellent meeting facilities and four-star hotel rooms under one roof. It’s easily accessible by train, with three stations within a ten-minute walk, and it also has on-site parking (for a fee) and EV charging points.

On-site accommodation
Accommodation is in (non-smoking) single-occupancy en suite double or twin rooms. All rooms have a television, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Accessible rooms are also available; if you would like to book one of these rooms, please contact the office ([email protected]) to confirm availability.
Bed and breakfast for an additional night before/after the conference, or on Saturday/Sunday (for day delegates), can be booked as an extra for £99 per night.
Delegates are welcome to bring a guest. There is a guest bed and breakfast supplement of £15 per night for double occupancy, and other guest meals can also be booked as an extra, including the conference gala dinner. (Guests are not eligible to attend the conference itself.)
Facilities
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the conference venue.
The conference centre is next to the Woodcock Sports Centre, a restored Victorian building that houses Birmingham’s oldest swimming pool along with a gymnasium, both of which can be used free of charge by hotel guests.
Accessibility
All of the conference activities (except the pre-conference tour) will take place in the Conference Aston centre. Sessions, social activities and meals will be on the ground floor, and accommodation on the floors above, which are accessible via lifts.
