The CIEP annual conference 2024: Embracing change
7–9 September | Birmingham and Hybrid
Join us in September for our third hybrid conference, where we’ll be looking at embracing change – change in language, editorial practice and the professional environment. Whether you attend in person or online, it will be a fantastic opportunity to focus on your professional development, be inspired by our speakers and meet other editors.
The conference starts with some informal activities on Saturday afternoon, and in the evening there’s an after-dinner quiz to warm up our brains. Sunday and Monday are packed full of lectures, seminars and workshops, with plenty of opportunities to mingle and make new contacts.

Booking information
Booking is open until 19 July 2024 for in-person places and 30 August 2024 for online. Any bookings for in-person places received after 19 July 2024 will be held on a waiting list, but places cannot be guaranteed.
