Hi and welcome to my profile.
I'm a Professional Member of the CIEP, and I mainly work in British English.
I have a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Journalism and worked in that field for several years before following a road less travelled.
I work with publishers and self-publishing authors and my specialist subjects include:
▸ bushcraft, Forest School and outdoor education
▸ green and sustainable living (e.g. permaculture, organic gardening, regenerative agriculture, wild food and plant medicine)
▸ spirituality, holistic health and well-being (e.g. yoga, meditation, Buddhist philosophy and complementary therapies)
▸ adventure lifestyle (e.g. surfing, cycle touring and wild camping)
▸ memoir and history
I have various experiences and qualifications to back-up these subjects, which you can read about here.
You can also read some testimonials (including one from an Advanced Professional Member of the CIEP) here.
I am a strong advocate of conscious language choice (bringing awareness to unconscious biases and using language that promotes equality and equitability), and I have a set of environmental and social commitments that guide my work. You can read more here.
I am neurodivergent informed and am happy to adapt to those who identify as being on the autism spectrum.
I also have a solid understanding of trauma, PTSD, CPTSD/C-PTSD and can work alongside such challenges with sensitivity and awareness.
Please feel free to get in touch for a no-obligations chat via email, phone or video call.
