I am a freelance copy-editor and proofreader with more than 20 years' experience in publishing.
Having also worked in-house in the publishing industry, I have a full understanding of editorial and production processes, having seen projects through from contract to print. I have also been involved in liaison with printers to ensure an efficient reprint and distribution service, and liaison with overseas and internal agents to ensure marketing materials are supplied correctly and on time.
Most recently I worked as part of a team of four copy-editors at IT Governance Ltd responsible for copy-editing all copy before internal and external distribution. This included marketing materials, client reports, website copy, newsletters, books and blogs.
