I am available to proofread and copy edit any subject, and you will find me trustworthy, reliable and easy to work with. I offer a professional proofreading and copy-editing service and will endeavour to provide the right words and accurate proofs – on time.

Most of my work recently has been primary and secondary level educational materials, including course books for GCSE and A level in all subjects and online teaching resources for various courses, as well as general interest history books for a broad market.

I am happy to undertake all types of projects and have a wide and eclectic knowledge base. I worked for the library service for 13 years where I specialised in local and family history research and I am a keen amateur archaeologist.

I have extensive equestrian experience, both professionally and personally, as well as considerable experience producing and editing risk assessments, method statements, lesson plans and presentations for water sports coaches (including kayak, canoe, sailing and windsurfing) and local youth group leaders undertaking expeditions and other adventure activities. I have specialist knowledge of a wide range of arts and crafts, having taught and demonstrated for several years, and a good working knowledge of wildlife, conservation, environmental issues and domestic animal husbandry.

I have some excellent client testimonials:

'An editor I will use again and again: fast, detailed and always accurate.'

'She has a friendly disposition and a desire to listen to the requirements of customers and then fulfil those requirements. I strongly recommend her to anyone who requires their work proofread.'

'… her attention to detail was unsurpassed.'

'I recommend Wright Words to all who are looking to achieve excellence in the printed word.'

'Sarah's excellent proofreading of my lesson plans means that my dyslexia does not hinder my performance as a coach.'
