About Sarah

I’m a professional freelance copywriter and editor, specialising in working with charities and Christian publishers. I’m reasurringly passionate about the clear communication of life-changing messages, and would love to work with you to help your readers share that excitement.

Need a copywriter to use your charity’s tone of voice to inspire your audience in new ways for your direct mail, annual report or website?

A developmental editor to help you organise the flow of your new book manuscript and clarify its place in the market?

A copy-editor for a thorough check of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and clarity, or to check out copyright permissions?

A proofreader for a final pair of eyes on all the details before it goes to press?

I’m your woman! I have 20 years’ experience in editorial work with Christian publishers and charities (see some of my clients and their testimonials below). I’d love to help you.

Experience
I’ve worked with a variety of publishers and charities of all sizes, both in-house, remotely, and in the communities around the world that are served by my NGO clients. I’m experienced in working on books, magazines, websites, and digital projects such as video captions, and particularly enjoy working on content with powerful messages of hope. I also have experience in management of large editorial projects, such as the proofreading of the TNIV Bible and the compiling of an annual review with the need to balance the requirements of numerous stakeholders from across an organisation.
