Hello, I’m Melanie.
I'm a former languages teacher, fearless mountain climber, and gimlet-eyed grammar tickler®.
Experience
After 25 years of teaching, I know how to communicate effectively, work to strict guidelines and give helpful feedback. I always work to the brief, and I’ve never missed a deadline – it’s the ideal skill set to become a highly accomplished and proficient proofreader.
I work with independent publishers, self-publishing authors, charities, and businesses of any size, but all have one common goal: to provide valuable, high-quality content to their audience.

I have a strong belief in the power of language used well. My motto? Clarity, communication and consistency.
