About Kim

Featured

I am an experienced proofreader, working both blind and against copy, in fiction and non-fiction, with an excellent eye for detail. I am reliable and flexible, and able to work at short notice and to tight deadlines, all year round.

I have experience of anglicising American and translated texts, and I have also done some on-screen editing using Microsoft Word's Track Changes.

Before going freelance I worked for more than 20 years in the book trade, as a bookseller and as a wholesale book buyer, the latter role including the proofreading of marketing materials and catalogues, in addition to purchasing and management responsibilities.
