I am an experienced editor and publishing manager, specialising in biology, ecology, conservation and the environment. With a degree and PhD in biology, I first worked as a practising biologist in environmental monitoring, before moving to a learned society where, for 15 years, I was responsible for the publishing programme. This included work on journals (print and online), books (textbooks and identification guides), newsletters, manuals, leaflets and corporate literature, as editor, copy-editor, proofreader and publishing manager. I now offer editorial services on a freelance basis. Testimonials are available on my website.
