She is flexible and responsive to project timelines and provides a polish to the output from Life Cycle Strategies." Tim Grant, Life Cycle Strategies Pty Ltd
"Joely Taylor is a professional and experienced editor whom I have been lucky to work with on several educational publishing projects at Pearson Australia. Joely has been a consistently skilful and efficient editor, able to adapt herself to projects that varied significantly in terms of audience, content and process, and producing great work in all cases. Her general knowledge and thoughtfulness are great assets, and she is an excellent communicator and a pleasure to work with." Tim Carruthers, Pearson Australia
"I have engaged Joely Taylor as an editor for secondary school maths several times over the past few years. Joely is outstanding in all aspects of her work, very professional and meticulous in her editing, and I highly recommend her." Michelle Thomas, Pearson Australia
"Joely Taylor of Well Writ is a talented professional. Editing film scripts requires not only an analytical prowess but a creative eye, which Joely demonstrated in spades. This coupled with her speed and accuracy for the task at hand were a complete pleasure." Rob Murphy, Writer/Director
"What [Joely] has done takes great skill and concentration, and she’s done a terrific job." Alan Sherwood, Formerly Principal Coal Geologist, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, New Zealand
"Joely has an outstanding ability to edit complicated documents and ensure that the language is clear, concise and easy to understand. She is agile when working with groups of stakeholders, responding quickly and professionally to changing needs and providing a balanced view when difficult text needed to be revised. In addition to her editing skills, Joely is able to provide advice on layout and the most appropriate photography, diagrams and infographics to complement the text." Dr Lyndall Bull, Principal, Lynea Advisory
"As a science textbook author, I found Joely’s professionalism and attention to detail a joy to work with. The level of care she took with all aspects of the manuscript resulted in a book I am proud to use in my school." Helen Silvester, Oxford Science
"Authors can submit their manuscripts to Joely Taylor with the confidence that it will be treated with respect. Although she may question, seek clarification and/or evidence for particular ideas and is pedantic about the use of the English language, Joely never alters text without first consulting the authors. This is particularly important with scientific or technical material, since small, seemingly insignificant changes can result in an inaccurate concept in a different context. Her attention to detail in artwork/permissions briefs is exemplary. The turn-around of her work is rapid and yet is thorough and meticulous. We highly commend her as an editor." Lorraine Huxley and Margaret Walter, Biology for Queensland
