Cheshire, UK – and working with clients globally
Experience
I am a proofreader, copyeditor and copywriter working primarily with corporate clients, non-profit organisations and publishers. I have over 20 years of editorial experience and specialise in company literature such as marketing collateral, reports and internal communications as well as exhibitions and educational materials. I am also a tutor on the CIEP's proofreading courses and led the CIEP's first live proofreading webinar in 2024.
Having worked in-house for a producing theatre, I have a particular interest in drama and have copyedited and proofread a number of Arden Shakespeare and Arden Early Modern Drama editions for Bloomsbury.
I also have significant experience of working on educational materials across a range of subjects from natural history and chemistry through to English literature. For the Natural History Museum, I worked on the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and gallery text for the revamped mammals and minerals halls.
I have also worked on politics and history titles and, as a trained journalist, welcome media-related editorial work. I work in British or US English.
