In 2011 I gained a pass with merit on the Publishing Training Centre’s course ‘Basic proofreading by distance learning’. Since then, I have edited articles for publication in SAGE journals in the social sciences fields, academic books for publishers including Cambridge University Press and Routledge, novels for independent authors, advertising materials and website text for small businesses, and documents for various charities, including a report on food waste presented to Parliament by food waste campaigners This Is Rubbish, and I have proofread a novel for Honno.
