Testimonials

"Dorothy’s work as a freelance editor has been an integral and highly valued part of the Postgraduate laws programme of the University of London since 2016. She is the programme’s primary freelance editor, copy editing and proofreading a variety of study materials across the programme. I am more than satisfied with the quality of her work and her ability to meet deadlines and will continue to use her services well into the future. I have no hesitation in recommending her editorial services."

University of London

"Dorothy is a wonderful editor and is seen as an extension of our in-house team – she is realistic with turnaround times, inquisitive about briefs, able to work on several projects simultaneously for different colleagues and always meets set deadlines. She always hits the right level of author queries and has an excellent eye for detail. She quickly picks up house style and brand guidelines and is able to work on different publications across the portfolio – prospectuses, handbooks, subject guides, annual reports. She worked in-house as an undergraduate Laws editor but has since worked on various projects across different subjects and we're always happy with the quality of the work."

University of London

"I have worked with Dorothy for 4+ years now. In that time, she has always been a delight to work with. She sets clear and realistic deadlines and always submits work on time and to a very high standard. She has a keen eye for detail and is highly adept at modifying text to match the house style. She is often working on multiple projects concurrently and across a varied portfolio of subject areas. The latest piece of work she completed for me was met with very high praise from colleagues across the university. She is also extremely efficient at returning all relevant paperwork and contracts etc, which makes the overall administration process much easier."
