About Doreen
I am an efficient, reliable and friendly copyeditor and proofreader with more than 30 years' experience (including nine years in-house). I have specialised in humanities, health, education and social care but I am comfortable handling a broad range of subjects, ranging from public-sector and charity reports to memoirs and fiction.
I am happy to liaise directly with authors, including helping those whose first language is not English. I can sometimes accept projects at short notice.
