Approach
I work on Word, LaTex, PDF, and Google Docs, using a combination of track changes and comments. While I edit I make sure that your writing is accessible, clear, direct, conscious, and compelling. Rather than just correcting grammar, I listen for the music in the language – my aim is to make your writing the best it can be. I work in collaboration with you to refine, tweak, and clean up your manuscript. I prioritise quality over quantity to ensure consistent and error-free writing.
Services
I copyedit and proofread manuscripts of all kinds and lengths, including articles, dissertations, books, reports, grant proposals, and blog posts. If necessary I can work on just one aspect; for instance, the references or formatting. I specialise in academic and non-fiction editing, but I am open to working on any kind of content, including creative writing and short fiction. All my services are customisable, depending on your needs.
