About
With over 7 years' experience of copyediting and proofreading academic content (e.g. textbooks, journal articles, research papers and theses), you can be sure that I will clearly and concisely communicate your message in your voice.
I graduated from the University of Stirling with an MLitt in Publishing Studies in 2017 and then worked in Prepress Projects (a publishing services company) for just under 3 years. Since 2020, I have been working freelance.
Most of my experience has comprised editing medical journals and textbooks, and editing the writing of authors who are using English as a second language. Other areas of experience are EU reports, business reports, schoolbooks and medical and veterinary textbooks.

Testimonials
Claire worked with us in house at Prepress Projects for nearly three years. Since then, she has worked with us on a number of projects on a freelance basis. She is thorough and dependable, and she has a good knowledge of medical editing, as well as familiarity with the EU Interinstitutional Style Guide. She is a pleasure to work with. A good communicator, she asks sensible questions and keeps us up to date on projects and her availability in a very helpful manner.
