Copy-editor of more than 150 books on all kinds of subjects, and much more | Error eliminator and problem-solver | In-depth knowledge of film, TV, music, games, and history

I’ve been correcting and producing text of all kinds for more than 20 years. Since going freelance in 2015 I have:

  • Copy-edited more than 150 books, and proofread several others, by authors from around the world for leading publishers and specialists
  • Completed editorial reviews of research papers and in-depth technical guides
  • Edited newsletters, reports, and varied material for organisations in the UK and elsewhere

My clients' projects have covered a wide variety of subject areas, but my specialist knowledge includes:

  • Film, TV, theatre – I’ve been a juror for BAFTA Cymru and I can also edit scripts and screenplays and use Final Draft
  • Games – role-playing games (RPGs), wargames, board/tabletop games, and video games
  • History – particularly military history and medieval history
  • Music – including playing, composing, and producing it

Besides non-fiction, if you’re writing a novel in the fantasy, science fiction, or historical genres, I would be very interested in editing your work.

Please don’t hesitate to let me know what you need, or visit www.icaneditthat.com to see how I can help you.
